About Feathers & Ink

Feathers and Ink is driven by Nwachukwu Egbunike who has considerable media and book publishing experience. He was formerly a Commissioning Editor of Spectrum Books, Ibadan. And was also a former correspondent with National Light newspapers of Anambra State, and was an intern in the Nigerian Tribune. He also writes in the OP-ED page of national and international news media like the Guardian, ThisDay; and contributes to online media like Mercatornet, Palabra, Nigeria Plus, Nigeria Village Square, etc. Egbunike is an author with Global Voices and blogs at Feathers Project.

Feathers and Ink is also responsible for producing the content of School Supplement, a quarterly magazine of Evans Brothers (Nigerian Publishers) Ltd. Asides; we engage in pre- publishing consultancy (production of Camera Ready Copy) for Bookcraft Ltd, Ibadan; Longman Plc, Lagos; Evans Brothers Nigerian Publishers Ltd, Ibadan; Safari Books Ltd, Ibadan and Criterion Publishers, Lagos.

We also publish books. Some of our authors include: Chris Ogbechie – Strategic Marketing of Financial Service Industry in Nigeria (2011); Re-engineering the Nigerian Society through Social Marketing (in press); Vincent Nwanma – Reporting Business and Economy - A Handbook for Journalists and Analysts (2011) – as publishing consultants. We are currently working with the Lagos Business School (LBS), Pan African University, Lagos to archive their history into a book.
